Friday Watch of the Lord: Taking the HOP to the Airwaves

For January, our 12 hour Friday Night Watch will be at Glad Tidings in their historic Catacombs Prayer room. The following months from other host facilities until we open the new SFHOPFAN site.

We plan on continuing a live 3 hour Internet broadcast during the 9 to midnight watch and adding testimonies with ministry toward viewers. Our hope is to rebroadcast these Prayer and Worship watches on English & Spanish TV, sending SFHOPFAN's prayer ministry out over the airwaves in accordance with numerous prophecies received in the last few years. Now is the time!

Expanding the Night Watch Ministry

The night watches are the foundational ministry of SFHOPFAN. We are actively recruiting more Kingdom minded worship leader/Levites that will carry the torch of intercession between mid-night and 6am. A unique company is needed to labor in prayer through the night. Each watch is 3 hours long: an interweaving of worship and prayer in a “harp & bowl” format. Our intercessors are a diverse group of people from many walks of life, grandmas & grandpas, business people, students, ministry leaders, moms, dads and single young adults. Not all are English speaking, so prayer often can be heard in other languages. The Night Watch mandate is found in Psalm 134:
“Behold, bless the LORD, all you servants of the LORD, who stand by night in the house of the LORD! Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and bless the LORD.”

REVEILLE FOR THE HARVEST

We believe that corporate ONGOING PRAYER WATCHES + regular CITY WIDE GATHERINGS will produce a Godly spiritual climate in San Francisco with divine strategies to reach all spheres of our culture with the Good News of Jesus and bring lasting transformation to our city. We are convinced this is the ‘NOW time’ to see a Philip anointing for San Francisco (See Acts 8:26-39) as Kingdom evangelists help us bring in a mighty harvest. God has told us to blow the REVEILLE trumpet as in Judges 6:34-35. REVEILLE is the bugle blown at sunrise calling the troops to arise and assemble together for battle. “The trumpet has sounded for My people to gather & seek My Face TOGETHER...Call to me and I will answer you…I am waiting to hear the UNITY of my people praising Me!” Do you hear the trumpet sounding

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER OF MAY 5
As we sought the Lord concerning the NDP, He impressed on us that this was to be a time of Preparation for an Audience with the King. (Esther 4:13-16) As Esther had prepared to go before the King for her people in their hour of need, we were to do the same on behalf of our nation. That night close to 300 congregational and ministry leaders, elders and intercessors joined forces & cried out with fervent heartfelt prayers for our city and nation. And in answer to a five year prayer, the separation wall between the “tribes” disintegrated as the Asian churches joined en masse to make up almost half of those praying.

The prayer circles were lit with holy fire!

STANDING TOGETHER CITY WIDE GATHERING OCTOBER 28

On the morning of the gathering, I awoke at 3am and began reading the History of Glad Tidings Church almanac Pastor Forrest Beiser had given me. As I read, gems jumpedout of those pages that stirred me greatly. Following the massive 1906 earthquake & fire, Frank Bartleman & others came from Azusa Street in Los Angeles to minister to hungry hearts among the 250,000 homeless shaken to the core by the devastation. I had been told that San Francisco rejected Pentecost and got the quake instead, while Los Angeles embraced it and got the outpouring! Perhaps true… but I had never heard of teams coming north from Azusa Street to reap a mighty harvest of souls. "Where will you spend eternity?" had been a key theme in those early days of Pentecost in San Francisco.

When we gathered @ the historic church and Pastor Beiser recounted the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, many experienced the same exhilaration for harvest as they had when Evangelist Joe Oden preached there prior to the Carlos Anacondia Crusade in San Jose & SF Civic Center Plaza. “There is no doubt that the corporate meeting hosted at GT was epoch, (and I choose that word carefully). I felt waves of God’s presence. My body could sense it. My mind was aware, and my heart was overwhelmed. The palpable presence of the Spirit was noted by everyone with whom I've spoken.” Pr. PRAYER INITIATIVES
During the summer, prayer streams converged in San Francisco as pastors, ministry leaders, and intercessors joined to seek God at several important prayer gatherings.

The Holy Spirit spoke & confirmed this Wailing Wall word given to Ken Bryan & his team from the NE Texas Apostolic Prayer Network. As they prepared to come into our region, they joined a conference call for California’s segment of the Route 52 Prayer Initiative hosted by Vicki Nohrden which has been praying over each state in the sequence they came into the Union. On that call Stephanie Steele of the Governor's Prayer Team shared that the Lord had spoken this very word to her also! When we sent out invitations to the Route 52 SF gathering, prayer leaders and pastors sent us more prophecies given 2 to 3 years ago confirming this same word!

On August 14 The Route 52 and the Wailing Wall prayer teams met in San Francisco hosted by SFHOPFAN. Ken Bryan’s team came into SF: the Gateway to the West to release the call and impartation for California, Oregon, and Washington to become God's WAILING WALL for the Nation. Vicki Nohrden, carried the Route 52 torch of prayer, fasting, & repentance into the city. A torch still moving from state to state reconfirming historic godly covenants made as each state joined the Union (In Hebrew the “United States” is called “Artzot Ha-Brit” which literally means "Lands of Covenant") We received the torch for California with these words from Cindy Jacobs, “We have an opportunity to turn this battle at the gates. 'United we stand and divided we fall.

We hosted a WEB- Stream Event broadcast from YWAM, Kona, Hawaii: Loren Cunningham's "Remembering the Life of Jesus in Keith Green". Mike Dowling was struck in his heart as Keith shared how the Lord called him to begin to “cry out “ When he complained, "Lord, I cannot cry!” …the Lord replied, "I will wait."

Jehu, Israel’s King led a revolution to overthrow Jezebel. He rode with such zeal, a movement began, sweeping Israel to freedom as he declared in 2Kings 10:16, "Ride with me and see my zeal for the Lord.” So during 21 days of leading up to TheCall Sacramento, JusticeHOP crisscrossed California, anointing young "Jehus"- those who would consecrate themselves to inward purity and burning hearts to see revival come to California that will spread across America. On August 29, SFHOPFAN welcomed Jehu's Ride to San Francisco as many prepared themselves to gather 5 days later to TheCall in Sacramento “the place of sacrament”, in repentance & fasting, believing for a turnaround & spiritual awakening in our nation.

"While setting up at 6am Saturday on the steps of the California State Capitol in Sacramento, I sensed "the whole" of the years of all those that prayed around us: the accumulation of years of prayer; generations of prayer; even the prayers of those who have passed on.
